How we can help

Electronics & prototypes

$75

Remote diagnostics

Up to 60 minutes of remote investigation into a defined firmware or connectivity problem, followed by written findings and next steps. Investigation does not guarantee a fix.

From $150

Firmware fixes

A small firmware correction or feature, quoted after reviewing the hardware, code and steps to reproduce the issue. Deliverables and acceptance tests are agreed before work starts.

From $295

Sensors & connectivity

Sensor, Wi-Fi or MQTT integration for supported ESP32, Arduino or Raspberry Pi projects, with a written scope and agreed test conditions.

From $500

Prototype development

A small proof of concept with agreed milestones and a record of what was tested. Components, hardware and shipping are quoted separately.

Software & business tools

From $99

Software & AI-built app rescue

A focused investigation into an app that is stuck, broken or difficult to deploy, including apps built with AI. Receive written findings, priority issues and a practical recovery plan. Fixes are quoted separately; this is not a security audit or certification.

From $99

Website & application troubleshooting

Help with a broken form, a reproducible bug, a build failure or a deployment problem. We agree on one issue, the deliverable and how to test it before quoting the work.

From $150

Small-business automation

Reduce a repetitive task with a small form, spreadsheet workflow, notification or supported integration. Includes an agreed workflow, a working example and handoff notes. Third-party subscriptions are separate.

From $100

Technical documentation & design files

Turn an existing project into clear setup instructions, a troubleshooting guide, developer handoff or a scoped design-file deliverable. File formats, source material and revisions are agreed in the quote. Custom PCB and enclosure work is quoted individually.

Everyday technology at home

Quoted before booking

Home Computer & Printer Help

Patient, plain-language help with computers, printers, Wi-Fi, email and everyday devices. Support at your pace, including for older adults living independently. Tell us what is not working; we will agree on the help, cost and whether remote support or a local visit is a fit before booking.

Prices are in USD. Final scope, price and availability are confirmed in writing. Parts and shipping are additional. No guaranteed repair or completion date before assessment.

Not sure which service fits? Describe what’s getting in the way. We’ll check fit before proposing paid work. Specialist bench repair and custom hardware work are assessed and quoted individually.

From “Can you help?” to a clear next step

  1. Tell us what you need help with, what isn’t working, or what you’d like to accomplish. Everyday language is fine.
  2. We’ll ask any follow-up questions and let you know whether we can help.
  3. We’ll agree in writing on the work, cost and how we’ll check the results.
  4. Work begins after your approval and agreed payment arrangements.

Clear expectations before we begin

We take on defined troubleshooting, development, automation, documentation and home technology help. Ongoing support, third-party costs and access to private systems need separate written agreement. We do not take on medical, safety-critical, high-voltage or regulated engineering work. Technical services are separate from OakLink, which remains in development. A request does not place an order or enroll you in the OakLink waitlist.

What can we help you with?

Describe the problem or what you’d like to do. You don’t need to know the technical terms. We’ll reply by email to discuss the next step. Please leave out passwords, private code and sensitive personal information.

Prefer email? Write to hello@threeoakwoods.com. Send request delivers your answers to us through Formspree; this website does not store them.
